Iron Swarm — Privacy Policy
Effective date: 2026-06-27
Iron Swarm is a 2D top-down tank arcade game developed by WizusLabs. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you play Iron Swarm on this website and in the Iron Swarm mobile app. We are committed to being clear about what data exists on your device, what third-party services may collect, and what choices you have.
This policy covers two distinct surfaces, which behave differently:
- This website — a free browser version of the game. The game itself runs in your browser and stores your progress locally on your device. The website is monetized with Google AdSense, which uses cookies (see “Website Advertising & Cookies” below). The website has no in-app purchases and does not use mobile advertising identifiers.
- The Iron Swarm mobile app (App Store / Google Play) — uses the Unity LevelPlay / AdMob ad mediation SDK, RevenueCat for optional in-app purchases, and Firebase Crashlytics. These are described under “Mobile App Disclosures” below.
The Game Data Itself Stays on Your Device
On every platform, including this website, Iron Swarm is built offline-first. Your gameplay data is created and stored entirely on your own device and is never transmitted to our servers, because we do not operate any game servers, accounts, databases, or cloud-sync service.
- High scores — your best wave reached and highest score.
- Preferences — sound and music toggles and other settings.
On the website this data is kept in your browser’s local storage. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data for this site. We never see this data.
Website Advertising & Cookies (Google AdSense)
This website is monetized with Google AdSense, a web advertising service provided by Google. To support the free browser game, the site may display ads, including optional rewarded ads. The following applies to the website only (not to the game data, and not to the mobile app):
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads on this site. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this website and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Google and its ad partners may use cookies such as the DoubleClick / DART cookie — a third-party cookie used for ad serving, frequency capping, and measurement — to deliver and measure ads.
- We (WizusLabs) do not collect personally identifiable information through the website ourselves. The advertising cookies are set and read by third-party vendors (Google and its partners) under their own privacy policies. We do not operate a server that receives your personal data from this website.
Your advertising choices
You can control or opt out of personalized advertising:
- Opt out of personalized Google ads via Google Ads Settings: https://adssettings.google.com
- Opt out of personalized advertising from many participating vendors at https://www.aboutads.info/choices
- If you are in the EU, you can manage your choices at https://www.youronlinechoices.eu
- You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Opting out of personalized ads does not remove ads; it changes which ads you see.
U.S. state privacy choices
Some U.S. state laws (including California’s CPRA) treat the use of advertising cookies to personalize ads as a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. To opt out of personalized advertising on this site, use the Google Ads Settings, aboutads.info, or browser controls listed above, or, in supported regions, the consent control presented on the page. We do not otherwise sell your personal information.
Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, a consent message (a Consent Management Platform, or CMP) is presented before personalized ads are served. Ads are then served according to the consent choices you make in that message. You can change your choices at any time through the consent control on the page.
For more detail on how Google uses information from sites that use its advertising services, see Google’s “How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services” page.
Mobile App Disclosures
If you install the Iron Swarm mobile app from the App Store or Google Play, the following third-party services operate within the app. These do not apply to this website.
- Unity LevelPlay / ironSource (with AdMob mediated adapter) — serves ads to free-tier users. With your permission, ads may be personalized using the device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android); otherwise ads are non-personalized and contextual. The SDK may collect IP address, device properties, session information, and ad-interaction data for ad delivery, measurement, frequency capping, and fraud prevention. Unity (ironSource) privacy policy: https://unity.com/legal/privacy-policy; Google AdMob privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
- App Tracking Transparency (iOS) and the EEA consent form (IAB TCF v2.2) govern personalized advertising in the mobile app. Declining keeps the app fully functional with non-personalized, contextual ads.
- RevenueCat — manages optional in-app subscriptions and purchases (Commander Pro annual / lifetime, and the legacy Full Unlock). Payment is processed entirely by Apple or Google; we never see your payment details. RevenueCat uses an anonymous app user ID. Privacy policy: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
- Firebase Crashlytics — collects crash reports and diagnostic data to help us fix stability issues. Privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
- Local notifications and the system share sheet operate on-device; a daily-challenge reminder is scheduled locally with no push server, and the share sheet only passes content you explicitly choose to share.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- No account creation, names, or email addresses collected by us.
- No location data, contacts, photos, camera, or microphone access.
- No game progress synced to any cloud service or remote server.
- On the website, no in-app purchases and no mobile advertising identifiers.
Children’s Privacy
Iron Swarm is a general-audience tank arcade game (rated 9+ / E10+) with cartoon combat and pixel-art explosions. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Personalized website advertising is subject to the consent and opt-out controls described above.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the game, the website, our practices, or applicable law. The “Effective date” above will be revised when we make changes.
